Beautiful spacious barn conversion on the edge of the South Downs National Park. Near to the picturesque village of Bishop's Waltham with fabulous views of the adjoining countryside.

We are offering 3 different booking combinations:

  • 3 nights - Friday to Monday 

  • 4 nights - Monday to Friday

  • 7 nights - Friday to Friday

Prices start from £695 for a 7 night stay.

About The Cart House:

It is split over two floors and accommodates 6 people.  It has 2 ground floor bedrooms with a third bedroom and cosy snug on the mezzanine levels.


It features a vaulted ceiling, beams and traditional stone flooring in the well equipped kitchen diner and a comfortable lounge to relax in after your days out or long countryside walks. 

Ground Floor:

  • Living room: sofas for 6, with 65" Freeview Smart TV.

  • Kitchen: electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, washer/dryer.

  • Dining area: table for 6 

  • Bedroom 1: sleeps 2, king size bed and en-suite with walk-in shower and toilet.

  • Bedroom 2: sleeps 2, double bed.

  • Bathroom: bath with shower attachment and toilet.


First Floor:

  • Bedroom 3: sleeps 2, galleried with twin beds and en-suite toilet.

  • Snug: galleried with 32" Freeview TV, DVD player and Children's board games.
